Hey guys, its been awhile and i have only one thing stopping me from completing my mod. I was originally going to drill holes and bolt the mesh i'm using to the side panel with nuts. But I dont have easy access to a drill press and im afraid if i use a hand power drill the holes wont be straight. So what im asking is, What are the best ways to attach a side panel window while keeping it looking good? This would preferably be something easy and good looking. Thanks

Well if you don't want to drill. I'd recommend Mirror or Window Holders.

And some 3M Double sided sticky tape or HotGlue.

Maybe some kind of good strong clear glue? I say clear because if it leaves a mess, at least you can't really see it. And I say strong because I bet if you pushed hard enough on the window it would pop out of place, so a good strong glue would probably fix that. But I think that would work. It doesn't really take much to hold a window in place, especially if you line the excess bit of the window with something like a good strong glue.
If you sand up the surface area that you are going to apply the glue too, I bet that would help create a stronger bond. But that would kind of defeat the purpose of using clear glue.
I just thought of another reason why you might want to use something that isn't permanent, such as glue. If you ever break the window, at least you could always just tear the left over pieces off, probably fairly easily too, unless you used some kind of crazy super bonding miracle glue. lol
Just throwing out an idea, I'm sure there are better ways to go about doing this. lol

buy somthing like this and glue it to the back of your drill. Make sure you allign your drill first by placing it in a vice or somthing that will hold it truely virtical.

If you dont mind having mounting pieces showing, just drill a hole and place some nice flat top bolts. If you want it to be seamless looking, then industrial double sided tape to make sure it stays on. Use the putty type instead of the foam because the foam deteriorates after a while. the putty is what they use for car emblems. also you can use rivets instead of the bolts... your choice.
