Any Good Buys on a Core 2?

I'm trying to find a decent Intel Core 2 proc. I'm going to be putting it in my Upcoming Ark of the Covenant Mod. Problem is, I'm not really up to speed on Intel chips. The board I got is a socket 775 and I want Core 2, not Quad, but as I've said I can't spot a deal because I don't know what one is. I've seen E4500's for $124. Is that a good deal or even a good proc? Help me decide....:think: I'd like to spend not much more than $125...

The E4000 series are decent at what they do and aren't bad, but you're more likely to be looking for a E6000 series. However you're not going to get get much better than a E4500 for $125 unless you look at ebay.
