I can't see the videos yet (my uni has limited bandwidth to youtube) but I'm guessing they're BEAM robots.

EDIT: Managed to get enough to watch the intro.... and it's been confirm they are beam robots.

i feel so sorry for that bot being kicked and falling on ice...

the way that it falls and recovers is so life like.
wicked stuff though.

That thing is AWESOME. It sounds like its powered by a very small two stroke engine, and it's amazing. So lifelike and adaptable.

I hope they build it in huge so it can take over cities. It would be like Half life 2 and the striders except real and on our side.

Who needs a laptop when you can put a computer in this thing and have it follow you around every where. It just needs a rack on it's back to hold all your periphrials while in transit.

The beta version has shown how far we've come with robotics.

From 2 men dressing up as a robot, to an actual robot that works better then said men.
