Greetings, first time here posting, but always reading.

The mod that i'll show you, its really simple, but it is really efficient in an overall sight.

Let's begin.

The case that i've got its a Chenming 602 with the windowed lateral side.

http://www.overclockercafe.com/Reviews/cases/Chenming_ATX602/pics/1005.JPG

The idea is the ability to Mod your window without having to do it. :D I know it sounds really stupid, but since this case it's one of the most expensive here in Chile, i'd have to be nice with it.

So i realize that every chenming (CM from now on) 602 has the same holes to hold the acrilic window, and it has some detachable plastic mounting-things (sorry about my lousy english) that i can reuse.

So, instead of destroying the acrilic and the side panel, i've come up with an aluminum flat piece, that will be over the original side panel, using the same mounting holes hat the acrilic has.

That way i can cut the aluminum plate in the way i want, and if im bored with it, i can just pull it off, and do it again, and again. without messing the case up.

After some drawings, i came up with this sketch after classes.

And the Font will be the second one.

After some thoughts, i want now more from this mod, so i've added some stuff. Instead of just being a cover, i'll put a second layer over this one. It will have some figures that i like, and then it will have some light enhancements.

This is what i'm talking about.

The top layer has 3 rings, the playboy bunny (look likes), and a rectangular cutted frame with my Nickname with the TTfont i showed earlier.
This will have some mounting brackets, so will seem elevated a bit to allow ilumination later.

the middle layer has the figure cutted just as i draw it later on.

Here is a more detailed picture.. it is a little too big, so i just put the link.

And here it is ni nickname already cutted.

I have a friend that can make serious cuts with some tools, and he's helping me out with this mod.

Here are some pictures of the middle layer recently cutted by him.

This one is right over the PSU section, so my TTPurePower can be seen. :)

And this are the "rings" that I talked about.

Updated:

I made some changes with the top layer. The playboy bunny it's no longer on, and now i'm using this theme...

But we had to make some changes, since the MortalKombat fonts wont do the cut, and it seems that the top right edge its a bit longer than the left one. So we kept this design to the cutting fase...

And here they are... MK Dragon a little bigger that 80mm, and the rest of the structure.

We're still missing some parts, like the mounting holes, the new acrilic, since to hold this pieces i have to drill the surface, so that way i can have my replacement kept safe, the painting, mounting, and finally, the light mod, that i'm working now too.

See ya later. (saludos a todos los que hablan espaņol)

Bytez!

looks good. I like how your are using the rivits in the case. Sorry to hear that case cost a lot in chile. It is a very common case here in the US.

I would like to see more pictures as you move along on this.
