MP3 Stereo Mod

I just recently order a new sound system for my computer and got an idea for what to do with my old 3 piece set

I have an old toshiba MP3 player that's audio out jack got wrecked, but if its played through its dock, it works fine

so heres my plan, build the speakers and sub into some sort of box and mount the dock in it

the speakers are REALLY thin, making space not an issue

here is the MP3 player and the dock (the back doesnt stay on properly anymore, hence the rubberband)

Im busy this evening so i wont be able to do a sketchup till tomorrow and construction propbably wont start until all the snow has melted (canada...grrr)

any ideas are welcome

Woah, talk about thin speakers!

What about a design similar to this: \| |/ (Where the spot in the center is the sub, and then the speakers face down/up)

That way you can stash paper in it!
