Hi All,

I was just after some ideas for my next project (yes I am already thinking of the next one)

I will be using a old Antec 1080 case - I like them! But it has this front swing panel on it that I do not know what to do with if anything? It looks nice closed but open its so....... plain.

Here you can see the case closed

And here it is open! I will prob seal the floppy drives up, change the power button etc but the 4 bays (as shown) im not sure??

Any and all suggestions are welcome!

First off, it demands switches when opened.

You could make some like 3 switch thing with flipup covers, which each switch turns on a led thats in a ring around a final powebutton, flip all three up, three green lights, hit the power button.

Depending on your artistic ness, you could paint... Well a pheonix over the faceplate, (and over drives etc)

Again, depending on your ability, have the bays be little flipdowns, displaying say RPMS, temps, noobs pwned that day, etc.

Speaking of the bank of switches, does power get through to light up the LED's before the main power (to kick over the motherboard) come on?

In my idea? *Scratches head*

Whoops.

You'd have to get someone more eletronic literate to do the effect i had suggested.
