This (http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGuide/Product-Details.aspx?ProductID=10951) is what I use for all of my cutting needs for modding.
It doesn't cramp your hand up while using it for longs periods and it has tons of power. I think I was somewhere around $40 at Walmart when I bought it. It can take all of the Dremel bits. Not sure about things like the flex shaft and saw blade thing. i bought a Dremel brand starer kit with it for like $20 and was able to use everything in it.
Only think I don't like is where they put the vent slots. If you're not watching it you'll cover the intakes and the motor starts to get real warm under you hands.

Wow, if you look at both of the above tools they are the same thing, right down to the case they come in. Only difference I can see is the color, and the Craftsman comes with a light while the Dremel comes with the planer. Guess it depends on what you need. :)

Well I've had my craftsman for several years and haven't had trouble 1.
I'd buy one again and would recommend one to a friend.
All the dremel accessories that i've found fit the craftsman.

If I remember correctly I've had my craftsman roto tool since at least 1997 maybe even 95 - 96. So it's at least 10 years old. wow now I feel old :think:

Wow. That's a long time for any electrical tool, much less one that takes the abuse of a rotary tool. Outstanding.
