I plan to have many small independent sets of elwire but i have a few questions. Do i need a driver for every set? Also, is there a way to control them all at once, ie, a single switch that can turn all of the sets off? also, whats the best place to buy it? ill need to buy extra drivers because some sections will be ten inches and they sell it in 5 feet increments.

by drivers do you mean the little black boxes that convert the power from 12v to whatever they need? i cut up some el wire into two pieces and powered it from one box but it had 2 outputs. A single switch could control them all if you put it between the molex and however many black converters you needed, as you should be able to run a few converters off one molex.
