i just got an paasche airbrush, with an air canister. i tried to paint a diecast model of mine but the paint wouldnt stick. it worked on plastic though. do you need some sort of preperation on the metal or a different kind of paint? any help would be greatle appreciated. thanx

Sand it gently, and apply a layer of primer before your base coat of paint. That should help.

Just make just the Primer is the same type as the paint you'll be using..

I.e.: Lacquer primer with lacquer paint ...Enamel primer with enamel paint (epoxy primer works too!) Basic rule of thumb with Rattle can Primers If they don't say Lacquer on them there Enamel...Duplicolor is one that I know has Lacquer primer. Rustolum is enamel (though some of there special app stuff maybe laq..not sure!)
