Good evening all. I am brand new to TBCS and this is actually my first post. I am in the process of building a rig at the moment, but my first question is actually not computer case related at all. Seeing as how crafty you guys all seem to be, I'm hoping I can maybe run this question through you guys for some help.
I am currently building myself a new desk to fit in the corner of my room. Truth be told, I'm actually just building a new desk top. I am going to use my old desk as supports. Regardless of that, everything is all cut and finished. It's a simple corner desk cut to exactly fit into my living room with extended sides both on my left and right. The only non flat piece of the desk is the monitor stand which is cut to fit directly into the corner and come out 22 inches from the wall.
Ok, enough back story, here's the question. The monitor stand is 6 inches raised over the desk top. I am looking for a way to suspend a shelf under the top of the monitor stand and some how mount a 15 inch LCD in a "drawer" that I can pull out and have it fold down. When it's fully opened it will be on a downward angle facing up. Best way to describe it would be \ if you were looking at it from a side.
Problem is I have no idea how I can go about mounting something like this. I cannot go with a standard drawer as there are no points on either side that I could squarely mount a drawer. Essentially all mount points would need to be mounted above into the monitors shelf and "float" down.
I drew a absolutely terrible image of what I am trying to ask in paint to try and clarify. Lets see how that goes. The black assume is the wood pieces cut & where the main monitor would be. The red is where the LCD can be mounted and how far down I'd like the cover / front of the drawer to go. Blue is how the lcd would sit. Hot pink where the wood supports are going up to hold the shelf.

Regards in advance for your help,
