Here's a quick question for the masses--what's the most common size of blind side pop rivets that are used to hold cases together? I thought 3/16" would work but I thought wrong.

Thanks, and +rep for all who reply!

I'd say the most common would be 1/8th of an inch. It's what has been holding pretty much every case I've bought, ever, together.

but I personally prefer the 3/16" better, but most people find this too big.

Any reason why you're asking?

Two reasons--it's going into the wiki and I got a case to put back together!

Nice.

Well if 1/8" isn't the right size I'd say you measure the drill holes on the case you have to put back together and see what size they are. I just checked one of the cases I tore apart for my build, and it had 1/8" rivets.

My rivets are the size of the hole i drill. Get a micrometer.

I use 1/8" for like everything. Weather its on a case or even for your gutters. It seems to be the universal size for me.

The 1/8" are good. Just make sure you get the right length for the rivets cause I bought some that were too long and it didn't bind together very well.
