Recommended cpu fan airflow

What's a good amount of airflow for an x2 64 6000+?

i'm looking for a low profile heatsink/fan, the one i'm looking at has 27cfm at 100%, i can always switch out the fan, but would be sufficient?

if youre willing to spend a bit more cash, the scythe mini ninja might be something to look at. just how low profile do you need?

that silverstone looks like it would have a hard time with a hotter processor like the 6000+ especially being constructed of all aluminum

I'm looking at <1.5in, but if the fan's mounted vertically it could be up to around 2in.

although if there's just a copper heatsink that you can mount a fan on, that would be great. none of newegg, unfortunately.

actually, if i were to dremel the fan so the air could actually get in for the second one, it might work pretty well.

I dunno but regardless with a heatsink that slim it has to be hot. have you looked at the kinds with the heatpipes? alot of them are pretty skinny.

just lap the heatsink and the top of the cpu. it makes one hell of a difference. even with a stock heatsink.
