It was mostly just a lot of screwing around with the blending options like bevel and emboss.
I did it a very screwed up way though. Probably could have been done a lot easier than I did, but once you start going in one direction it's hard to change. If you want the .psd I can give it to ya. It's really confusing though... I'm not sure if I could even tell you whats what as far as layers and stuff go.

Oh and also, if you want to make it look better, try putting the white layer on top and seting the layer mode to overlay. It should make it look like it's painted on(i think)

I wanted it to look like the stripes were behind the metal mesh. The overlay thing would probably look cool though. I may try it out.
