Bending Acrylic

Hi there, somewhat of a lurker here with a few posts here and there. I'm trying out my hand at my first mod before jumping into case modding, so I was just wondering if you guys could help me out. :D


I'm thinking about this plexiglass: http://www.estreetplastics.com/Black_Plexiglass_Sheets_s/75.htm

What I need help with is how I could go about bending it. I don't have a heatgun, so I was wondering if I could just heat it in the open and then bend it and have it set. Any other advice regarding bending plexi would be awesome as well :]
