I've been curious to play HL2:Survivor in the past, but now I'm more curious and a little disgusted.

The Japanese site for the Japan-only game is very, well . . .Japanese.

You'll just have to see it for yourself. I'm directing you to some of the more curious desktop backgrounds. Weird . . .

I really want to play it. I feel like the game won't be completely killed, but that there will definitely be some weird stuff and that it will feel a bit different. The good thing is that the original story is completely lost.

I hope that there is a mod released for PC at some point that is a clone of the game. I think that is really how we need to look at it, as a mod, not as some hollow shell of the great game that is Halflife 2.

Ok well that site was kinda useless so I went to the one place I knew I could get the facts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-Life_2:_Survivor Also took a look at google for screenshots. Apparently this is an arcade version of HL2 with no tie to the storyline. Kinda looks like TF2 style game play in HL2 environments.

Half Life 2 as an arcade game?!? :think: Um yea I'm not feeling this. Making the characters seem like Japanese pop defeats the point of Half Life, the game is supposed to creep you out at some level. :mad:

The site I linked to just has pics of some of the character classes. Who are those people? I really want to play it now. They get to be combine assassins and use sniper rifles. I'm jealous, but it's still so weird.

OH NOSE!!!! It's been japanified. Please Valve file a law suit or something, get that company out of the game.

Then they deserve to be shot and revived and shot again (sorry I have been playing a bit too much BF2 lol).
