View Full Version : Just a warning...

Not wishing to spread fear but...
In the past hour or two, there have been two cases (that I know of) of people losing their hotmail/messenger accounts to a hacking group calling themselves the K.S.A.
Affected accounts normally have their display name changed to something similar to: “Hacked By K.S.A.”
I don't know how many more accounts this may happen to, and I hope it is none.
Personally, I would advise that people set really strong passwords, keep their passwords safe and watch out for anything unusual.

My passwords are SOLID.
Look at the strength of this one for my yahoo account, quakken- &(@bo%GH23t&@!
NOTHING'S going to crack that.

I agree.. I try to avoid using public computers or cafes, as people can fairly easily keylog from those sources.
I even saw a hardware keylogger once.. plugs into the keyboard port, and has a limited amount of memory to log every keystroke coming through it.. all the owner has to do is stop in and grab it every few days then dump the contents to their machine.

I plan to put one of these on my computer if I ever had kids...
