Hey All,

I started making the prototype case for my new project I have based it on Resident Evil.

Here are a few pics of the prototype case I designed for the project, I am going to make another case probably from aluminium.

The case is going to house 2 computers controlled by a KVM, I am going to use A.C. Ryan mesh X panels to fill in the remaining holes, and I will mount red or green CFL's inside with red or green fans to match.

I wanted to use a 30" Dell monitor but the whole thing would have been to huge, it weighs an absolute tonne at the moment.

I like the design, only one question. Does the moniter have room to change pivot angle? Because if not, glare might be a issue.

But it looks like a really nice project so far! I giveth thee props for thou's awesomeness!

Hey All,

Not much progress just working on the operating system side of things, I have got the second motherboard installed and I am waiting for the following to arrive:

Red CFL's + matching fans
A.C.Ryan mesh X panels

Yeah the case is pretty big and very heavy.

I am going to build another case pretty similar to house my quad Core, X2900XTX, 4GB machine, and it is going to be water cooled, I am going to get a clear reservoir and mod it to look like the T-virus canister in the movies.

I am using a Lian Li case for all of the mounting hardware

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j16/Eos30Daus/IMG_7616.jpg

This beast is also going to be water cooled and at the heart of it all will be a quad core 2.8GHZ and 8GB RAM.

Don't PC Case Gear stock MeshX any more??? You can get mesh from our fellow forumer GAM at www.gammods.com.au. He is a great guy and helped me a lot with my radiator. He doesn't have MeshX but he has tons of other great meshes in a few different styles.
Hex (http://www.gammods.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_17&products_id=234)
Round (http://www.gammods.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_17&products_id=235)
Square (http://www.gammods.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_17&products_id=236)

You can also get the Hex and Round mesh is black. It's also cheaper than the MeshX ($27.50AUD from PCCG), the stuff from GAM Mods is under $15AUD for a 500x500 sheet.

Nice progress buddy, keep it up.

Hey All,

Well some more Progress on Project Nemesis, I have cut out the case Logo and started the top of the case as well, I am waiting for some more 9mm MDF to arrive before I do the other side panels.

The Lian Li case has come apart so easily and fits like a glove, I am also going to buy one of these power switches to use on the front of the case.

The mesh panels for Project Alice have arrived and I have shaped and test fitted them, I will be putting them in this weekend with my brand new Hitachi Cordless drill, the old GMC one i have just doesn't cut it anymore.
Here are the Nemesis pics.

Hey All,

Thanks for the award, I was blown away when I logged on today and found it on the front page of the site.

The case is 1 meter high by 80cm wide, and weighs a tonne, the lettering was done with a Jigsaw and much patience.

I will post up a tutorial on how to do the lettering if anyone else is interested?

I am just waiting for some Mesh-X panels to finish off the top, then the water cooling begins :):):)
