Well, i am new to the forums, and modding in general. Assume that I am coming from point 0. I've done some woodworking before, but i know people who i can get help from and get tools from.

Ok, so here is my current beige beast: I want to make into something that looks something like the Dell Crystal sans speaker (though they would be cool) or the
TransTFT mod on metku (think: acrylic)

The second picture is the back of it with the cover taken off, stand removed, etc.

incase you can't read, that number is 15in on the width dimensions. srry, blurry pics

also, the peg spacing

I need to make a stand that can support the monitor, and preferably let it move up and down. The mechanism used in the TransTFT mod came with the monitor, of which I do not have the luxury with my plastic base.

Ideas?

Sorry for being so noobish about this, i am probably leaving out ALOT of ino you need, but reply with whatever you need and I will try to give you the numbers.

Thanks,
eagle
