Just thought i'd let ya'll know there is a device you can connect to the USB port of your computer to make calls from your phone or headset worldwide for Free over the internet.

There is a yearly service fee, but if your already paying for internet which obviously your are you can hook this thing up to any computer with a usb port and start making calls.

If i'm not mistaken you could easily make calls from within a wifi hotspot on your laptop.

Yearly fee is $19.95

Seems kinda cool but that site/page wreaks of tackiness to me. Just feels like one of those 2 min. tv spots, "Check this out for only $19.95" etc, etc.

Interesting though. Maybe if I read good things about it from other sources. I can't seem to focus on much on that page lol.

Oha. god yea i know exactly what you mean. Have you seen the Shamwow commercial? lol

I got one, seems to work great.
I was surprised all I had to do is plug it into the usb and it automatically loaded the software so I plugged a phone up and got a dial tone immediately. Works on the livingroom wifi as well.

I have seen a few late night infomercials on this thing.. Looks pretty interesting.. and I gotta say it was almost an impulse buy more then a couple of times. The purchase price for it is $39.95 which includes the first year, and then $19.95 for every year after. I started to do a little research but I didn't get very far.

I think its a great idea but apparently there are several videos on YouTube saying that its not a quality product. There are also several that are promoting it, so I guess its anyones guess at this point.
