Ok so it has come down to it, I need a name for my project. The problem is my initial ideas have already been taken. So I am open to suggestions at this point.

My basic concept is I am taking a really large case, I have modded a 10 gallon fish tank into the interior. The tank will be an oil submersion simmilar to a Pool Type nuclear reactor. However the primary oil needs to be cooled so it will be pumped through 2 14'' tall induced draft hyperbolic cooling towers that will have a secondary water coolant for an evaporative cooling system.

Basically the idea was to mirror a nuclear powerplant in cooling system and operation, with the processor serving as the core reactor.

However the ovbious names "Power Plant" "Unit 4" Reactor anything etc have been taken.

Any suggestions?

those names... they make me remember things...

how about RBMK 1000, thats the reactor type from chernobyl unit 4

(or look some up in wikipedia, personally i like those reactor names)

you may be on to something. btw great job on the chernobyl re-creation. Researching that disaster was kind of what started me on the whole nuclear idea.

How about ECCS? (Emergency Core Cooling System)

ECCS is very ironic, one of the ideas that got tabled for this was a second radiator inserted into the primary coolant, that via switch used a chemical reaction to get VERY cold VERY fast if the temperature ever got above a threshold.

This is more nuclear bomb related, but what about "Physics Package" (what bomb maker's refer to the elemental core explosion device in a bomb). It's not a power plant related term, but it's catchy. Alternately you could go with one of the coolant nick names like "Heavy Water" (A.K.A. D20 or deuterium oxide). Heavy water was used to cool the elemental rods in early nuclear reactors but now has been found to have lots of better uses.

hmmm "Heavy Water" might fit.

especially as the last esitmate put the case easily over 150 lbs (100lbs of liquid alone...)

I am kind of diggin it..

and yes the first thing I modded into the case were wheels...

Thank you all for your input... It was just one of those things I hit a creative block and normally for me the best way around that is to solicit outside input.

Reactor Core, Atomic Unit, Nuclear Fission, Chain Reaction, Fission Reactor?
Thats all i can come up with. Here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_reactor_core) is some Wiki nfo's
