Thanks. Anyone know the maximum, and minimum GPH recommended for watercooling?
I purchased the "CL-W0002 120 MM Thermaltake Big Radiator"

Attempting to piece together a system. I remember before someone said the pump needed to have atleast 4' of pumping head.

how much did u pay for that rad? i'm thinking way more than its worth...

if you can cancel/return the order i really would. thermal take water colling it no good.

what are you wanting to water cool? if its just a cpu then i would pick up this stuff.

1x Swiftech MCP655 Pump (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCP655-B-12-VDC-Pump-Without-speed-controller-pr-3803.html) = 69.99
1x D-tek FuZion (https://www.jab-tech.com/D-tek-FuZion-CPU-Water-Block-pr-3667.html) = 59.99
1x Swiftech MCR 320 rad (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR320-QP-K-Triple-120mm-Radiator-pr-3320.html) 44.99
1x Swiftech MicroRes (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCRES-Micro-pr-3093.html) = 16.99
1x Swiftech HydrX (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-Hydrx-Extreme-Duty-Coolant-UV-REACTIVE-pr-2476.html) = 2.99
10x ClearFLEX 60 Tubing 1/2" ID / 3/4" OD (https://www.jab-tech.com/ClearFLEX-60-Tubing-1-2-ID-3-4-OD-pr-2431.html) = 8.90
3x YATE LOON 120mm Case Fan (https://www.jab-tech.com/YATE-LOON-120mm-Case-Fan-D12SH-12-High-Speed-pr-3771.html) = 9.45

total = $212.30

that setup can easily handle a highly over clocked quad core with room to spare. if a triple rad is to big for what you want then i would get either rad below.

Swiftech MCR220 (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR-220-Radiator-Black-pr-3199.html) = $41.95

Swiftech MCR120 (https://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR-Quiet-Power-Series-radiators-120mm-Black-MCR120-QPK-pr-3070.html) = $33.00

well it can depend on the bore size of the hose you were putting in it. if it small bore then you run the risk of high pressure. and it aint good.

i personally have 1/2" just because i love the big tubes :)

A lot of people don't think about this but slower can be better. Any turbulence in the cooling blocks due to pressure or high flow rate will detract from your overall cooling. It's better to let the water gently flow through the loop.

The average seems to be 500Lh +- 50
