What can I say? The joy is in the creation.

If I had the money to build a new one I'd keep it but I don't. ;)

Like Blue said, the joy is in the creation--and that is something I can attest to. Best of luck; I might put this on my watch list just to keep an eye on it.

No, but we let them go when they're all grown up. It hurts, but we do it. :)

And then, if we're still young enough, we can make more babies!!

umm $100 shipping? Thats a bit much dude.

I realize that, but I wanted to make sure whoever read it knew what they were getting into. I did some checking and as big and heavy as this thing is (18" on a side and 45 pounds) UPS ground wants $76 to ship it from my house to L.A. I wasn't going to put anything in the "shipping" section but Ebay lists it as FREE if you don't. If I list it at $50 I take a loss. I explained all that in the actual listing. You think I should lower it just to get people to look at it and read the actual shipping criteria?

Well what do you know? I did some more checking independent of Ebay and USPS will ship it to either coast Parcel Post for $35. USPS wasn't even an option with Ebay's auto shipping calculator. Thank you! I have revised the auction accordingly.

Seems I was mistaken again. For a package weighing 45 pounds and measuring 21x21x21 (barely too small for this item), USPS will deliver it from my house to L.A. for $32 and change. Increase the size of the (same weight) package to 22x22x22 and the rate jumps to $84! One inch in each dimension nearly triples the price. Wonderful. Thinking I'll be eating some shipping on this.

Two so far, but it has 3 days left on the auction. I won't even watch an auction until the last day myself. I was hoping some guy with lots of money and a real appreciation for glowing blue things would have jumped on the Buy It Now option. :D

True. Not everyone has the same tastes as the creator. Your best bet is enthusiast forums like TBCS, bit-tech and TPU.

Gee, thanks for the encouragement. :) It's worth a shot, I think. And if it doesn't sell, I'm not out that much and I can keep it on my desk! (Or maybe build a table for the thing, it SWALLOWS my desk.)
I think it will be geat case for water cooling, eventually.

I thought so also, but I can't sell directly here. Do these other sites have a classified board (or the like)?

Well there are a few people selling their rigs on bit-tech at the moment (in the forums). Money isn't discussed in the forums, only through PM. TPU sell parts openly on the forums, prices are listed and transactions are all made with PayPal.
