How to find a good case painter localy.

Hey folks, I am getting a thermal take Armor case, and I have decided I want it heavily custom painted, and have no desire to do it myself. My friend has designed a very detailed image in photo shop for one side, and I want someone to paint the rest of the case to match adapting it with there own style and creativity. I realize this will probably be expensive and that is not a problem, my question is, how do I go about finding a painter who could do this.

Autobody shop. I don't know where you are, but maybe contact Commando (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/member.php?u=6128) (our resident airbrush/paint guru) and see if he's interested in painting it for you. He's in California, and has painted a case for someone here before.

agreeing totally with SgtM commando lays out some top notch work but alot of the mod shops online have a custom painting service available
like mnpctech or overclockers
most are willing to take your ideas and bend them in a way to best suit your needs
a bit of research into all your options and i am sure you will find someone who can handle what you need.

Ha! I too was going to recommend Commando if regionally feasible. As for having an automotive company paint the case (or at least the base coats), it may not be worth it for you or them to do it. What takes 90% of the time and effort is the prep work and waiting, so doing all of that for a computer case might cost more than it's worth. You would do much better for yuorself to practice and try it yourself on scraps until you get the technique down to paint your own case. It would be more rewarding in the end.

Your cheapest possibillity is to prep the case yourself. Then i would sugjest taking a trip to your local Hells Angels chapter and see if you can have them paint it for you. They are wizzards on small things like gas tanks and so forth.
