I have sevral movies that i'd like to "snag" a sound clip from and im wondering whats the best software to do this with?
this one is good:

That re-encodes videos, but you can set a start time, end time and save the audio into MP2 (Which strangly will play if you just rename it to mp3)

how do i save the audio only? Maybe i just cant access some functions because its a trial? It saved the clip as an mpeg.

I guess i have to buy it because thoes options arent available to me. I thought it might have been the format i was using.

Yeah, doesnt work. i cant access thoes functions. l can only save System (Video + Audio) in mpeg. Source file is an AVI. When i only put in an audio source and try to save it as a diffrent format, the sound is amazingly distorted.
