I got a gamecube game which is quick scratched up (it's preowned) and while it hasn't faulted yet, I'm looking around for repair kits that aren't too expensive to repair the disc if things do starting faulting.

I've heard if you wipe peanut butter mixed with battery acid on it with a shoe with steel cleats it'll be patched right up in a jiffy (especially if you use Jif (or is it Jiffy? o0) brand peanut butter).

Not sure what stores are available to you online, but google "dvd repair kit" (http://www.google.com/search?q=dvd+repair+kit&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a) shows many results. I have the alsop kit and some other one(purposely forgot the name since all the polish was dried up)that cost me under $10.

3M fine cut rubbing compound or toothpaste will work just as good as any kit you can buy. Used both on many CD's and DVD's.

I would try toothpaste, it's a very good polish.

The toothpastes we use are different from normal... so I'd have to buy a normal one. At this stage, the game is still working.

Well you don't have too much of a problem then, yet. What game is this?
