View Full Version : 3870 X2 or 9800 GTX?

I found a ATI 3870 X2 going for $366, this is quite the bargain for this card. I'm wondering if i should get it or a 9800 GTX for around $300. I havent found many reviews that compare the two cards. Most compare the 3870 x2 against the 88 series. It out performs the 88ultra.

My board is also crossfire so upgrading is made double easy as i can get another 3850 or somthing down the road.

I'm a big NVIDIA fan so I say the 9800, BUT since you already have a Crossfire ready board I'd say go with the 3870.

Yeah the nvidia is competition for the 8800gts anyway.

Well, i bought the 3870 x2. Now i wait for the mail Mwahaha!

i would go for the x2 since you have the crossfire support mobo.
