Yep, I met the man behind Zero Punctuation (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation) and got a picture taken with him. ACMI screwed up when they only gave out 100 tickets (I'm not one of those) but a bunch of us waited (and entertained ourselves) and managed to meet Yahtzee who came out to greet us. He signed several things including a Wii, DSes, hats and various bits of paper.
One thing that annoyed me was that some of the people who had tickets was taunting the ones that didn't.

Coming to a store near you.....
GTY: Grand Theft Yahtzee

EDIT: To the guests looking at this thread. To explain a little, the thread title has to do with a joke that the group outside was having that you touching yahtzee would make you become a 'legend' with in the gamer community. I'm not really 'that' freaky, but that's personal opinion.

Thats so cool! You get all the awesome stuff in Melbourne. The only famous person I see is Matthew Reilly he lives nearby. He does have a sweet hat doesn't he. Even though he is british we will claim him as our own like pavlova.

We get all the awesome stuff in Melbourne? I THINK NOT! You guys in Sydney get more stuff than we do.

Apparently the people outside were "12 year old tards who were let outside on their own for the first time ever."

I think the forum moderators there closed it to prevent flaming. While I can understand some of us would have been slightly irritating, we weren't THAT loud. The only thing that would have caused disruption is the group of people that yelled out "YAHTZEE!" every time the door was open (I'll admit I did it once).

EDIT:
Putting the various links here, some of them talk about what happened, some complain about the creepy yahtzee uberfans, etc.

I love reading that article
