I want to build my own computer for the first time. I'm not a complete noob, but most of my knowledge is software based; this is my first time venturing into the hardware "realm". I want to build a gaming hackintosh; that is, I want to build a gaming computer capable of running Mac OS X. I want to know what components I should use to build a good gaming computer, but still be able to run Mac OS X. I also would appreciate case ideas. I would like to keep the price around $1,000, give or take. (not including the monitor, I have an extra)
I would also like, if it's possible, to include a video game system in the case, maybe an xbox, maybe more. Any input on whether this is possible and/or the best way to go about doing this would be appreciated.
For those of you who think this is too much to undertake for a rookie, I'm not really worried since I'm am willing to take the time to learn and do plenty of research, I'm already an OCD perfectionist as it is. :-)
