Hi there, I recently builth my own computer with an Antec Performance II Series mini tower case wich has no side glas (see picture below). :(

I want to put a side window and also want to carf a sort symbol in the plexiglas so that I can put laser lights on the side to iluminate the symbol, like in the DOOM3 project wich was an outstanding project (see picture below).

I already have a big peace of plexiglas to start.

Could u guys help me with the steps and any further ideas for modding this case?.......In advance thank you verry much. :) :D

You don't need to laser etch it, just scratching the surface will make it glow when a light is diffused from the side. An easy way to do this is with ruff sand paper and a metal pattern. Don't have to be metal but that is the strongest as paper/cardboard will be sanded away easy.

If you want it laser etch your going to have to send it to a company with your design. Less you have an extra $4,000 lying around to buy your own unit.

Thanks for replying bro, I think I'm going to start with the sanding and scraching since money never lies arround here hehehe.

BTW any of you guys now of a site that I can look for nice symbols or figures to scratch on the plexi surface to be iluminated? :D
