Just recently upgraded me graphics card from a ATI Radeon X800 GTO 2 to a Nvidia 8800GT.

There is a driver issue with this card that stops you playing Medieval and Shogun Total War.

Nvidia ain't gonna do anything about it apparently.Makes me wanna re-install my old GTO2.

These are two timeless games that still give hours of fun.Should've stuck with ATI:unhappy:

is that for any nvidia card or only the 8800GT, or the 8 series?

From what i understand it applies to the 8 series cards. I found this on the Total War forums when i found i had a problem:

Just read one of the posts there and it says they're having trouble with Rome Total War:mad:

I haven't even tried to play that with my new card. I hope to F*** it works.
