I've been looking at getting a 2253BW for some time now... however it's being replaced with the 2253LW which is actually a 21.6" monitor. I'm looking at alternatives if this new monitor isn't as good (apparently it contains cheaper parts). I've got a limit of about AUD$300.

Word to the wise, either 20 or 24, the quality is reduced in a 22". Samsungs are nice but the 20 would look better than the 22

I've seen 22" monitors, they look fine in my opinion. 20" isn't large enough for my deskop but 24" is too large to fit onto my desk. A 22" fits just right.

After pulling a few strings, I'm getting the last 2253BW at a store. Apparently someone got it for a mac and it didn't work for them, so I'll have to be cautious.

Check newegg.com for open box deals. I got both of my 22" Chemie's from there for under $200... and they came in the box! lol

A lot of Australians would buy from newegg..... if they shipped to overseas countries.
