The 4870x2 will come out about a month later after the 4870.

According to initial reports, the x2 beats the GTX280.

The current 3870x2 or the 4870x2?

Either way, I would totally love a 3870x2. That thing looks sweet (so what if it isn't top of the line?)

The 4870x2. It seems people have problems with ATi drivers including with the 3870x2.

Well that's not good. Too bad, really- Many a great hardware piece has been lessened greatly by sub-standard driver issues.

Maybe NVidia and ATi do a trade off, let NVidia write their drivers, and help NVidia with their cost issues xD;

i prefer NVIDIA, for one, the red theme kinda is failure, 2 i like EVGA best tech support around... <3 also Nvidia held the crown with the 8 series for so long, they probably have way more stuff up their sleeves, waiting to release it like the 280 GTX

I'm not a fan of EVGA since their step-up program is great... if you're in the US.

Anyway, I like NVidia, but I'll wait until the end of this month before I pass judgements.

EDIT: WARNING! NUDITY AHEAD!
Buahahahaha, it's not what half of you are thinking

From what we can see, the 4870 could be great value for money.

Nvidia don't support full screen playback of the video overlay on a second screen any more since 8XXX series cards. This is the dumbest thing and why I am going back to ATI.

Well, I've decided for a long time that whenever I get my next computer, It's going to be aamtdi. I may not have the best processor, but I will have the better graphics.
