I will try and organize regular games and events and we can also use it organize non-steam game such as battlefield 2 for those that still play.

Well, from some preliminary chats with the new admins, there have been talks of a tbcs server and a tbcs clan.
Now that i have some help, hopefully we will be able to kick start the community and there should be some exciting stuff on the horizon!
Thanks Chaksq and Sirkillalot for taking on the task of helping to manage the group!
Killalot mentioned he is going to try and set up a few games for the group soon, so i shall look forward to fragging all you noobs! :D

As for the question on battlfield 2 I dont know about a squad but Im sure we can have a night or 2 on it :)

The program I use captures it raw, it's going to be very large. I'll have to compress it before I can send it to you. I may just upload it to youtube.

Also, beware of my accent.

The one worry I have is ping.... It's going to be hard if I have more than 250ms of ping, more than that, and I'm going to be shocking!

I don't have a copy of BF2 sadly.

Here is the thing about a BF2 squad, it's not so much reliant on individual skill. Example, I am a horrible shot, in a straight up fire-fight I end up dead every time. So I have learned to excell at support, suppressing fire, and especially UH-60 pilot.

The plan is you get a coordinated team that will work together to fill the different roles and stays together to apply a multiplied force.

A six man squad consisting of a
Anti-Armor
Medic
Resuply
Spec-Ops
with the last two spots open for any class but sniper.

With that group, it doesn't rely on your own skill, but can you support the group, can you heal/revive, can you provide the necessary support so that those with more weapon skill can provide the necessary force to accomplish the current goal. The team work is the key... If you have a squad of Rambo wanna bee's you might as well go play Quake3...

Nah mate no point erm so a game at the weekend is easyer for people then? and yes I will find a american server this time.

I arranged a Battlefield 2 game for next monday if anybodys going to join would you prefer it to be moved to the sunday or saturday.

If you're going to do another TF2 server, try to make it so it's at the same time as the one we tried to have today, but so that Australians have it on Sunday and the English and Americans have it on Saturday. Makes it easiest for all I think.

I thought I would revive this. I've joined and will be looking for people to play Left4Dead with me.

If we get eight of us together perhaps we can do some fun stuff like cheat our way to achievements; survivors stand in a group to get barfed on, etc.
