Hey guys. I was thinking about adding a second user account to my windows PC so that my GF and her family can use it if they need too, but i don't want them to be able to do anything that might lead to a damaged system. I'm not sure exactly what i want to do but what i was thinking was I want to create a restricted account that doesn't have enough privileges to install, Download, or change settings. Can anyone help me out w/ how i can go about making a restricted user account?
Thanks

When you create the new account in user accounts, just make sure that you select "Limited user account." You are using Windows?
Group policy. You can lock everything down very tightly. Don't want your users to right click on the desktop? Disable it. Don't want them to restart the computer? Disable it. Make sure you leave yourself a shortcut on the administrator desktop to get into it if needed.
