I also love thinking and solving problems. Nothing like figuring out how stuff works, especially when it helps you fix something. :D

I dunno, I'm in a good mood. Things seem to be slightly more stable for at least a little while.

Cycling on back roads
Music in general, particularly on Tribble (Sansa m250)
Tostitos. This is completely irrational, but I love 'em.
Also, cashews.
Taking a ghost dump (http://tinyurl.com/5svy89)
Warm fuzzy blankets when it's cold outside

I don't love losing partially written posts.

I do, however, love this thread. I mentioned before that I love music - and though I don't generally love songs about love, this is an exception.

Tom T. Hall
"I Love" (For the People in the Last Hard Town, 1973)

I love
Little baby ducks,
Old pick-up trucks,
Slow-moving trains,
and rain
I love little country streams,
Sleep without dreams,
Sunday school in May,
And hay
And I love you too

I love
Leaves in the wind,
Pictures of my friends,
Birds of the world,
and squirrels
I love coffee in a cup,
Little fuzzy pups,
Bourbon in a glass,*
And grass*
And I love you too

I love
Honest open smiles,
Kisses from a child,
Tomatoes on the vine,
and onions
I love winners when they cry,
Losers when they try,
Music when its good,
And life
And I love you too.

* Some versions have these two lines replaced with "old TV shows, and snow" - perhaps it was interpreted as a reference to marijuana? Either way.

I love life. For the last three months I have hated it and wanted to die. This week many things happened to change that. One of them was reconnecting with this community - a deliberate act because I also love this community. Got to be one of the best online communities around.

@CB: :)

I love making progress and figuring out what is the true cause behind a problem so I can fix it. I also love the feeling after fixing a problem. Sooo much better than living with it.

I also love my computer, it may not have the highest end components but it kicks some serious ass... and helps me to do the same when playing Crysis or Oblivion. ;)

Watching my kids grow up. That tiny spark of light in their eyes when they GET something and a couple more gears mesh in their minds and start spinning together. The huge bright shining horizon of their future and the fact that it is completely open. Watching their interests and joys and following behind them in the wake of their wanderings. Guiding them as necessary but letting them find their own way as often as I can. Teaching them. Just about anything. Just being Dad.

YES! This is one of the best things about modding for me. I'll have a problem simmering on the back burner for a week or more and POP! The answer shows itself. That pop has woken me from a dead sleep more than once. I love that.
