Ive been playing LastChaos it's similar to Runescape
. .except better graphics, and the tutorial is relatively short.

@p0Pe: I haven't tried the Shaiya game yet.
If the chics in the game are that hot it is definitely worth trying out. :)

Project torque was not so great in my opinion. But maybe it plays better w/ a wheel.

I have played track mania, i think its pretty fun, much more fun that project torque.

I've had Trackmania for a while. Fun game. I am trying out Project Torque, seems interesting has some features that I like. I can use my own MP3 files as the soundtrack, and I like that a number of the cars are real models.

I think maybe i was just disappointed in project torque because i expected to be wowed, with tons of car modification and awesome racing. Perhaps if i would have given myself some time to level up more i would have enjoyed it.Generally speaking though, i can't stand when games include "leveling up" even though that genre doesn't typically have "leveling up." I was just like, "what, i can't have that hood until im level five? Why the heck not!?" Plus i couldn't drive that well, maybe it was the keyboard, maybe its because I'm used to forza, or maybe its the game. IDK, I'd be interested in hearing what ppl who may have played it a bit longer thought of it.

I've seen that before. It's only worth it if you have a physx card.

Really? I've played it fine without a PhysX card and have gotten a few people at a LAN Party to join!

Well the physx parts of it. The game was made so people would buy ageia physx cards.

wolfenstein ET is a good free fps. Way better than quakewars, it's retail brother.

Yes it was made so people could see the 'advantage' of a PhysX PPU. However, I have no issues running the game and I don't have a PhysX PPU, if you want to play it, I suggest a decent Dual Core CPU and to install the latest PhysX drivers from the NVidia website.

To crenn and noopy -

Have you guys heard of Nvidia's CUDA? Most recent Nvidia cards (G92 and 9 series I believe) that are CUDA enabled will [in the future] allow for physics processing a la Physx without the need of a dedicated card. Read more here. http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia_physx.html

Eck - Silk Road, not Slick Road ;).

I've heard of silkroad, kind of a grind fest, innit?

I like MMO's. they're fun, but not fun enough to make me want to grind for 6 hours so I can get to the next level. No where close, and there hasn't been one, free or not, that has had an actually fun levelling experience.

Which is why I never got to the endgame in wow.

Anyway- 9dragons (http://9dragons.acclaim.com/) is a completely free (but has advertising) somewhat grindy but MARTIAL ARTS MMO. I played it for a while, actually seemed pretty cool. I left it after a while, though. It didn't really seem to be going anywhere.
