Crysis seems to have a standalone expansion coming out this fall where you play as Psycho instead of Nomad. Read about it here:

and here's the website (not quite finished yet though):

I was playing through again on Delta and the new patch came out and screwed up my save game. And now I can't get the patch installer to work (too much un/re-installing). Ah well. The first one is really fun towards the end. Where're you at?

I started and finished the game on delta. Before any patch came out :P

Warhead should be interesting as crytek has apparently optimised CE2.

I actually needed the patch for the performance boosts.

And that's anotehr part I'm excited about, the increased functionality of the engine... right now it needs a kickass system to run it. Mine is pretty good but I'm having cooling issues with my new desk and the summer heat, lol.

I'm dreading summer..... we have have air con, but we also have girls who complain that it's too cold (18c isn't cold)

The idiot that designed this desk decided to make the only logical place for the ocmputer to be inside a cabinet... which isn't logical. So I'ma figure something out, lol.

Where I live central AC isn't very common, so the house I'm in is cooled by three window units. At least it doesn't get too too hot up here.

On a note of bad news, I'm starting to tire of gaming again. As much as I enjoy it, sitting idle is pissing me off. Oh well, time for a break until some better games come out, lol. I dunno... /OT

When it's 0 it's freezing
when it's 10 it's not
when it's 20 it's warm
when it's 30 it's hot

how I remember it pretty much, haha

Between 16c and 22c is comfortable. It normally gets warm in my room thanks to a hot computer... I can't wait til I can afford a new computer!

I have the video of the first 25 mins of game play of Clear Sky and I tell you what, it is different...in a good way.

Hopefully they release both Crysis and Warhead as a twin pack. I still refuse to pay full retail for a game that is like 10 months old.

I am excited about Warhead, although I do not have money for it... I think I have too many hobbies so I'ma focus on music for now. Clear Sky looks like it will be a lot better than the first game but I don't think I am going to get it. My bro might though.

I dunno, what i have heard about clear sky isnt too good. it would appear that the faction war for control of the zone, the games main selling point, is nowhere near as fun as it should be, and apparantly its even harder then shadow of chernobyl.
Im sure i will still give it a try at some point though, as i did really love the first game.

And im really looking forward to warhead!!

W00t! Now there's a dilemma... I like getting the game with the box and all... but I also like the convenience of Steam... hmm.. lol
