The world won't be the same without you.
I was just about to post the same thing. Sad.

When I saw the article on yahoo, I couldn't believe it. I read two of his books, bought 3 of his CDs and saw him once live. He was one of the top 5 funniest comedians for me.
He will be missed.

Now the question is, is he smiling down upon his family? (To quote his latest HBO special)
I feel lucky to have seen him live last October.
R.I.P. My favorite comedian.

****, Piss, ****, ****, Cocksucker, Mother****er and Tits!
In case it doesn't show, that was the 7 dirty words that cannot be broadcast...
Too bad he is gone.
One of my favorite skits was a live show he did when I was young. I just came in from talking with MJ and Carlin did this short skit about why he doesn't get high much anymore. He was talking about how his eyes get so red that he might as well have a neon sign above his head flashing "I'M STONED"!
My Parents were staring at me the whole time as I was laughing my ass off... Busted!

No question one of the Greats. I will never look at language the same way because of him. "There aren't any bad words. Bad people. Bad thoughts. But there aren't any bad words." "We think in language. The quality of our thoughts can never be any better than the quality of our language."
I saw him in concert a couple of years ago and was struck by the wide cross-section of the demographic that showed up. From kids that shouldn't have been there to old men in walkers. He's gone but he will be remembered for a very, very long time.
