Hey everyone!

Some of you are probably like, "whos this guy?" while others are likely saying "you are back?"

Yes, it's true that I'm back. Some of you may not care... oh well. :D

Today is an awesome day because...

1. My boss realized that I'm overworked, and since there are no major projects coming up, suggested that this was a good time for me to take some time off and recharge. I gladly accepted...2 weeks of banked time = 2 weeks of paid vacation. YAY!

2. I got a free laptop! I signed up for some training courses through an online training company (Quickcert), and got a laptop. Not anything fancy, but it was free! And it arrived today! Holy fast turn-around Batman! Exclamation!!1!

3. Got paid for some work I did on the side, and managed to get my bank account back above the $0 mark. Yay!!!

Last week = also awesome..

My son turned 1 year old! He's running around now.. not walking, RUNNING. OMG..

I got a new work phone (HTC P4000, aka Tytan, aka 6800... depending on your carrier). Windows Mobile 6, slide out keypad, wifi, etc. Very cool... also managed to swing an unlimited data plan. Turn out the phone has GPS built in, but my carrier has chosen to lock it out to force you to buy their bluetooth GPS receiver. Lame.

I managed to hack the phone using a Sprint rom, then installed the other ROM to unlock the GPS, and upgrade my radio. I'm now running the slickest and sweetest WM6 phone.. i love it.

VPN + Remote desktop? Sure! 3mbps (AVERAGE!!!) downloads through EVDO? Definitely. Google Maps + Live Maps + GPS = Real time GPS tracking/directions/mapping? Got that too! My cost? $25 to move service from old phone to new phone.

Life is good.

Let's hear some more stories of good luck and happy times.. and send out some positive vibes to everyone who needs them. :)

That's awesome dude! Glad to know you're doing good.

I went for a hike with my mom and one of my brothers today. We accidentally took the long way around but we enjoyed it. Today's been fun. I haven't seen my brothers or anyone since I moved up here to NY and I've been enjoying their company.

My birthday was this past Saturday (for those of you that didn't know), so I decided that I was going to buy myself a digital camera with the money I was given. Look out photography, here I come!

I doubt your plan is truly unlimited they will probably throttle you at 5gb. But hey sounds like a awesome day but.

Awsome news.. The Titans are sweet, something is going on with my home internet at the moment so I am on my Apache (6700) tethered to a lappy. It works GREAT. The cool thing about these phones, is all you need is the data plan for the phone, since the Sprint network is unable to determine if the phone itself is using the internet or if a device attached to the phone is using it. The call center I support has Sprint Tech support as one of our customers, so I got a little inside scoop. :D

Glad to hear everything is going great!!

The only complaint I have about this phone is that I'm having some trouble with syncing to my Exchange server... VPN works, remote desktop works on other servers and desktops, but not the exchange server! Cant sync to it, cant RDP it.. thoughts?

Today was good too! Did some gardening, planted a couple trees and some tomatoes, hung a couple of baskets on the front of the house, yeah, I'm domesticated. :D

Other than that, nothing really technology related, except for the 9" EEE PC I'm picking up tomorrow to demo. yay me!
