I'm planning on buying a HD4870 in the next 2-3 weeks. Reviews have shown that coolers that are compatible with the HD3870 are also compatible with the 4870. Now I want to overclock these cards, no questions there, and I want a lot better cooling to do so. So having their similarities, I'll just ask:

What is the absolute best aftermarket HD3870 cooler? (I'd prefer it to be non-passive and to only take up two slots total)

Thanks,
Indybird

/facepalm/ Well I suppose you are correct, but lets stay in the realm of practicality...;)

Hehehe, thermal right have good HSFs... but they can take several slots. I'm going to have to say a water cooling sink is the best option for a practical setup.
