New Rig:
C2Q 6550 2.40GHz
MSI P6N Diamond Mobo (Built in X-Fi Audio & SLi Support)
2gb Kingston HyperX DDR2 800MHz RAM (4-4-4-12 latency ftw)
eVGA 8800GT Akimbo Edition GFX card (gets comparable fps in CoD4 to my dad's dual ASUSPN8800GTX's in SLi... and I only have one card)
WD Caviar SE16 320gb SATA HD


same kb/m, monitor, headphones etc.

Cost ~$1200 for performance close to my dad's $2200 rig.

Not bad, I say...

Especially considering I only have to do $240 worth of work or so to pay it off, and my dad says we're even.

I have 4gb's of Kingston HyperX 6400, its wicked ram. It's supposed to overclock like a banshee on asus boards.

I dont want to steal your thunder but i'm building a new comp also. Specs are in "my computer".
