Where would a good place to get wires be? I'm going to need a lot to complete my NES PC to my liking.

Just looking for standard what-ever-gauge wires? Radio Shack is a good enough place to start. You can also probably get spools at Home Despot or whatever. Sears wouldn't be a bad place to check, either.

Pretty much - if they sell soldering irons, they probably sell wire.

I just bought some speaker wire at the shack. I also got a lower power soldering iron and some leaded solder.

If colors are not important, try digikey or mouser for ribbon cable spools.

Colors don't matter, as it's all going inside. I never thought of using ribbon cables. That would probably work better.
