Where do you buy plexiglass for your projects? Do you know of any sites that have a bright green transparent color or something like it? I'm having a lot of trouble finding a site to buy it from and I dont know of any places around my house.
have you checked the hardware stores?
places like home depot and lowe's

Try Professional Plastics website. (see page link below)

This is where I buy my plexiglass. They have dozens of colors in stock & they cut-to-size. Retail customers are welcome. They ship to my house by UPS within a few days. If that link doesn't work, try www.professionalplastics.com

Plexiglass is a brand name of acrylic, or polymethylmethacrylate. It's all the same.

Might as well add my two sence, just because. GE Plastics manufactures LEXANPOLYCARBONATE sheets in various thickness, size alltho i am not sure of color. I do however know that you can pick up transparent green sheets from "rplastics" online. They carry all sorts of fantastic poly items. Lexan is great for me, actually just picked up a few sheets and am in the process of "etching" or carving a case window as we speak.

and when ive worked with plexy in the past(makin some clear dice at school) it looks really kickin when cut and machined

You don't always have to use plexi-i've seen a great range of things including glass, mesh, plain old holes, paper...
be creative! Plexi's great but you can get some great effects with other stuff.

This website is my favorite for plexiglass and polycarbonate (Lexan). They have great prices and discount specials. I think the shipping was pretty low cost too.

The reason I prefer using Professional Plastics is because they carry all of the colors and can cut to size. You just enter your size & they cut & ship to your door. (see http://www.professionalplastics.com/PLEXIGLASS-ACRYLICSHEET-EXTRUDED ).
They also have the plastic fabricating tools if you prefer to do it yourself. (See http://www.professionalplastics.com/PlasticToolsAccessories )
