I want to get a new monitor I've looked at best buy and circuit city and only found 1 monitor that was even 21.3. I'm planning to make a trip out to frys but dont think ill have much luck there either. Anyways I'm worried about ordering off newegg since I wont be able to see the picture quality. From my understanding the larger the contrast ratio the better the picture will look. So my questions are, is the contrast ratio really an indication of picture quality and secondly is the price of:

really worth the performance and picture quality of:

Thanks in advance.

Both are nice monitors (really really nice) and you won't even notice the difference between the two. They have such similar or close specifications that it's a neglegible difference. I'd go with the cheaper...

Yea I was swaying more towards the cheaper one. If I dont find a monitor at frys i think my minds made up on it but does the contrast ratio have to do with picture quality? I read something that made me think this and im just curious.
