Well everyone, it took a few days to get it, but I finally got my Birthday present to myself.

I'll let the pictures speak for a little bit.

That thing is nice! I wish I had one... or any laptop, lol. Happy Belated Birthday... can't remember if I've said that yet or not.

I've got the XPS M1210 (discontinued now). If I had waited another couple of weeks, I could have had the 1330 (with the LED screen) but I was way too impatient.

Still a great little machine, it's actually my primary machine at home. :D

Sweet XPS mate, I just brought myself a Dell Studio 15 1555, was a bargain. Costing me $1500AUD with a P8600, 3GB RAM, 320GB HDD and a 256MB 4570 all with a 2 year warrenty and Vista Home Premium 64bit. They wanted $70 for an upgrade to 4GB RAM but I can do that myself for $20 lol.

How long did it take you to get yours? I ordered and paid for mine on the 23rd March and they recon I wont have it until the 20th April, so much for the 7-10 working day delivery.

Mine only took about a week and a half to get. Infact it arrived sooner than they said it would.

Yeah I hope mine does, I really need it for uni, end of next week is mid semester break though so it doesn't really matter.

I should update this too..

My XPS M1210 had an unfortunate run in with my toddler.. long story short: I need a new keyboard, since we cant find all the keys.

Second: I've had a few 1330's come through the shop.. all with failed GPU's. It's unfortunate that they rushed it to market, since it obviously wasnt ready.

How's your 1530 holding up?

That's good! I had a chance to play with an M1730 (sexxxy), and found that the external lighting on it (speakers, touchpad, lcd screen) was customizable to any color...
