Well i was reffered to this great site by THEGREATSATAN. Im always bugging him with ideas on his mods. This is my simple rig, just got it built so small things coming soon.
Your traditional quadcore 6700, 4 gigs of ram, 8800gt videocard, clio-x case with stupid sized fans, zalman heatsink, 3.0gb/s sata hdd, ocz gaming powersupply and um i think thats it. My future simple plans are to take everything out and paint the inside black, never relized how horrible the silver looked until someone pointed it out and also paint the logo off too.. I get some mad airflow through this thing lol.

Haha, real BSOD in the background or is that a screensaver/wallpaper?
Always kinda liked these cases - solid Chenming design, more-than-adequate airflow, good looks. I'll bet it'll look exponentially better with the steel chassis blacked out. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

windows didnt liek how i shut it down ;) i didnt even relize it till after i took the pictures. on the front door it has the xclio logo which is attached to the HDD activity light, so im wanting to change it into something more fun to flash as my system is thinking. the zalman BARELY squeezed in there lol.

I helped him put in the guts and after it was all done I said that the drive bays look stupid next to the black case. It's been Bugging him ever since!

Nice rig. I like the style of that case other than what was said before. I have that same mobo. Does your northbridge heatsink run fairly hot? Mine has been lately.

Night and day difference. i wont install any hardware if the case has a window, but the interior is primed, or un-painted.

I'd put a piece of glossy black plexi over those bays. Perhaps with a design or logo with back lighting?

That is a nice case, I am also new here and haven't done any mods yet.....yet!! I have a Thermaltake Armor Jr. case and my drive bays show through the window, so I guess my first mod will be painting those. Oh I did have to drill holes in of the tool less 5.25" bays to install a Lian-Li TR-5B Thermometer Black Fan Controller, I'll take pics of what I did. Anyway welcome.

I hate that case. It's one of the worst premods ever, but even that can be fixed

The drive bays definitely need to be painted or something, I've never seen a case like that its sick lol
