Does anyone happen to have or know anyone who has this board?

This is the v2 board, MSI withdrew support for 125-watt processors from the v1 board due to some "dramatic failures". Here is v1:

If you look at the two boards, the only visible differences (to my eye anyway) are the addition of the heatsink beside the CPU (this was invariably the area of the "dramatic failures") and the "v2" sticker.

I bought one of the v1 boards before learning all this (as seems to be my habit), and I have a 125-watt processor. I am dying to know if this heat sink was the only change. I have read of a person adding his own heatsinks to this area and running a 125-watt processor without a problem, but what I'd REALLY like to know is whether it says "v1" underneath that "v2" sticker. :D

In case anyone is interested it's working. I installed a set of copper BGA heatsinks in the problem area and have had no trouble whatsoever. Love this board. :)

You should of bought the K9A2 Platinum like i did. It's a great overclocker, pleny of SATA ports, supports 8GB RAM, good clearance for my heatsink, and it supports 4-way crossfire, so you can buy 4 X2600's and go crazy.

But if it works, it works. glad to see your happy with it.

I would LOVE to have such a thing, but then there's money. Or the lack thereof. I got this board for $55. :D
