So its finally the time to upgrade my aging rig as well as fixing my soon-to-die HD. This is what I chose so far:

CPU: Intel E8300 (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=179352)

Mobo: Gigabyte P31-S3G (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2676)

RAM: 2x1GB OCZ Reaper HPC Edition (DDR2 800) (http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr2_pc2_6400_reaper_hpc_edition)

Total: 1404 Israeli shekels = 447.989724 U.S. dollars
------
So far so good, BUT I have a choice of other components, so I'd like to hear what you guys think.
RAM
OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Vista Upgrade 1GB Module/2GB Kit (http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr2_pc2_6400_vista_upgrade_1gb_module_2gb_kit ) - 45 ILS less.
2x1GB Corsair XMS2 TwinX CL5 - same price.
2x1GB Corsair XMS2 TwinX CL4 - 15 ILS more.

Mobo
Gigabyte 73PVM-S2H (http://tw.giga-byte.com/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2691) - 35 ILS more.
Asus P5KPL-CM (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=563&l4=0&model=2068&modelmenu=2) - 20 ILS less.

I'd love to hear from you guys!
Thanks!

I just replaced the RAM in my system with 4GB of this same OCZ memory and I love it. Had to adjust the voltage manually in the BIOS but it runs great and looks great too, absolutely no complaints. And with the rebate it came to under $15 USD per GB. Cheap! :D
