Well I finally picked a PSU so time to move on. At the moment I have a 750GB Seagate drive lined up as well as a 100GB Maxtor

Seagate Drives, still trying to decide which one...

and the Maxtor one:

Are these brands any good?

Also what are some good companies for RAM? I've heard good things about Corsair.

seems like that seagate SV model is better for sound, temps, long life might be worth the extra 30. its a big drive and might be worth the extra money for peace of mind.

as for ram best brands i would say are Corsair, Mushkin, OCZ, and Crucial.

Depending on what you plan to do, you could get a couple of 500Gb drives and set up RAID-0 and have 1Tb at 6 Gbp/s (theoreticly). Its not the best idea for data storage but it helps big time for gaming.

Kingston ram is the brand that all others compare to. They are certinly not the worst nor the best but they are ultra reliable. Not very overclocker friendly unless you use their premium line's.

Well I'm planning to have the 750 for all my files and programs, the 100 maxtor partitioned to have all my OSs on. And then I have some lying around here for backup/other storage.
