Yes, it's true.. I need watercooling help. I've only ever helped build one watercooling setup, and it was a Zalman Reserator system. Very quiet, very cool. Very expensive and difficult to transport though.

So, here's where I'm at.

I'm building a system right now for a client, who wants to be blown away by the appearance. The system itself isnt anything fancy.. p4 1.6 (Oc'd to 2.0 right now, on air!), 1gb ram, 100gb hdd, and *POSSIBLY* an ATI 3850 512mb.. AGP.

The idea here is that we are using an acrylic case, as the appearance of the machine is the number one concern. Preferred color for everything is blue.

I've already got an ASrock socket 478 mobo that is blue, a set of blue heatspreaders for the ram (which I would watercool if possible..), and a blue sleeve kit.

So here's what I need help with:

1. Good looking waterblock for CPU
2. same for GPU
3. Ram cooling is optional, but I'd love to see options
4. Tubing/fittings
5. Rad + fans
6. blue coolant
7. quietest pump possible
8. flow meter
9. clear res

I'd love to see the whole thing come in under $600 CAD if possible, but show me whats possible! Here's your chance to design something wild, I will DEFINITELY BE BUILDING THIS ASAP, so I'd love some help with it!

PS: I'm also looking for a socket 478 cpu, something 2.4ghz or better.. I'm open to offers.

Hehe nice! I am going to post a similar thread, but for my current mod... (didn't want to go water, but may have to)

BTW, I will check my 478 when I get home, it is being replaced buy a dual Xeon workstation board.

that will handle it easy and look nice, at the same time. you can go with a different res if you want. it will do 478 and 775 for an upgrade later on.
